Setup
| Field | Purpose |
| Old URL | Enter the old URL - the URL that needs to be redirected |
| New URL | Enter the new URL - the URL that visitors will be redirected to |
| Permanent | Toggle between yes/no |
A permanent redirect, like a 301, is used for URLs that have moved forever, sending users and search engines to the new location and transferring the old page's SEO value. A temporary redirect, like a 302, is for short-term moves, signalling that the original URL may return later and therefore keeping it indexed.
