Manage 301 redirects in this module.

Automatic redirects are put in place when pages (including Catgories, Brands, Products, etc.) are disabled

Please contact Iconography if you need to create redirects in bulk. 

Setup

Field	Purpose
Old URL	Enter the old URL - the URL that needs to be redirected
New URL	Enter the new URL - the URL that visitors will be redirected to
Permanent	Toggle between yes/no

A permanent redirect, like a 301, is used for URLs that have moved forever, sending users and search engines to the new location and transferring the old page's SEO value. A temporary redirect, like a 302, is for short-term moves, signalling that the original URL may return later and therefore keeping it indexed.
